Room Dividers Technical Information From Indeco
We supply Indeco Room Divider components manufactured in Europe. This is not for the feint-hearted but here is some technical information on our room dividers if your engineering inclined:
Aluminium Systems
All profiles are extruded from refined aluminium ensuring rigidity and strength.
Anodised finishes harden the profiles surface which makes our aluminium profiles highly resistant to mechanical damage. Four surface finishes are offered:
1. Satin anodising: formation of an oxide protective layer by galvanising.
2. Brushed anodising: surface brushing followed by anodising which adds a ‘third dimension’ to the surface.
3. Polished anodising: as per satin anodising but then subsequently polished.
4. Painting: a special technique of stoving paint powder produces the highest quality finish.
Anodised to Grade 15 in accordance with EN 12373-1.2001. Minimum average thickness 15microns.
Profile range allows horizontal split doors (decorative or physical splits) to be made. Angled doors can also be made
in selected styles. Additionally a top hung suspended system is also available.
Bottom Rollers
Bottom roller made from galvanised structural steel with adjustable bolt fixing. Adjustable from 0-15mm by means of the adjustment bolt and incorporates a spring anti-jump feature. High-strength plastic wheel with embedded
sealed ball bearing. Weight loading up to 60kg / pair with 50,000 opening / closing cycles.
Top Guides
Twin wheel top guides are constructed from structural steel, designed for screw fixing. Two permanently riveted high strength plastic wheels with vibration damping rubber and sealed ball bearing races ensure extremely quiet operation and that the track is followed precisely.
Calgary/Victoria |
• Dual named as it is double fronted i.e. either side can be used as the front face with equal levels of aesthetics according to your own choice. • Front face is known as Calgary which is the primary surface and curved. • Rear is Victoria which is flat. • Visible frame width (from the front) – Calgary 31mm, Victoria 29mm. • Available in various powder coated colours and natural anodised aluminium. • Available as sliding, angled, bi-fold (Calgary only), pivot & partition door options. |
Niagra |
• One of the most popular systems across the whole of Europe. • Very prominent handle detail on one side, so very easy to operate. • Visible frame width (from the front) – 25mm. • Available in various powder coated colours and natural anodised aluminium. • Available as sliding, angled, bi-fold, pivot, partition door options |
